LOS ANGELES LAKERS WEEK 9 RECAP

The Los Angeles Lakers entered Week 9 with a 21-7 record which ranked 2ndin the Western Conference.

The Lakers posted a 1-2 record for Week 9, which brings their overall record to 22-9 for the season, still ranked 2nd in the Western Conference.

The Lakers suffered two losses at the hands of the Nets (20-12) & Heat (13-17).  Their one win came against the Timberwolves (7-24).

Lebron James led the way in scoring, rebounds and assists for the Lakers by averaging a robust 27 points, 10 rebounds & 7.7 assists per game during Week 9.  Kyle Kuzma had a season high 24 points against the Miami Heat in their loss on Saturday.  Marc Gasol played excellent defense by contributing 1.7 blocks per game.

Los Angeles came into Week 9 with a home record of 9-4.  After going 0-2, their new home record sits at 9-6. Their road record was 12-3 entering Week 9 and is now 13-3 after posting a 1-0 road mark.

The Lakers now enter Week 10 on a 2 game losing streak and will have home games against the Wizards (10-17), Trail Blazers (18-11) & Warriors (16-15). They will go on the road against the Jazz (24-6).
